In January 1998 the UCA United Canal Agency GmbH was founded by the shareholders Andreas Hansen GmbH, Hamburg, the United Baltic Corporation Ltd., a subsidiary of Andrew Weir Shipping Ltd., London and Messrs. Zerssen & Co. GmbH, Kiel.

The UCA United Canal Agency GmbH operates from both ends of the Kiel-Canal with offices in Kiel-Holtenau and Brunsbüttel, employing the staff of more than 60 persons of the former three well-known and old-established Kiel-Canal agencies Karl Grammerstorf Kiel-Kanal GmbH, United Baltic Corporation GmbH and Zerssen & Co. GmbH.

Schultz Baltimar Shipping GmbH is offering agency services in the ports of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern – Rostock, Wismar, Stralsund, Greifswald and others.

Schultz Baltimar Shipping GmbH is specialized in clearance of all kinds of vessels and cargoes, either liquids or bulk. Other activities are customs clearances, bunker arrangements and husbandry agencies.
